Mount Ararat United Holy Church

Nestled in the heart of Dayrell's Road, Christ Church, Barbados, Mount Ararat United Holy Church has been a beacon of faith, hope, and spiritual growth since its establishment on 9 July 1936 by the late Pastor Clement Taylor. In 1949, the church became a proud member of the United Holy Church of America, marking the beginning of a rich legacy of ministry and service.
Following Pastor Taylor's passing in 1967, Mother Dorothy Taylor faithfully assumed the role of Pastor, serving alongside Elder Lorenda Clarke for many years. In 1997, Elder Clarke became Pastor, leading the congregation with unwavering dedication until Elder Anthony Sylvester Forte was installed as Pastor on 17 November 2017.
After faithfully serving the congregation, Elder Anthony Sylvester Forte resigned as Pastor on 30 April 2026. Since that time, Minister Laura Franklin has been serving as Pastor, leading the church with dedication and a heart for God's people. She is faithfully supported by Assistant Pastor Euclid Ifill, and the membership, as they continue to strengthen the work of the Kingdom.
Though the church may be a small congregation, they serve a great and mighty God. At Mount Ararat, there is a commitment to sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, nurturing spiritual growth, and serving the community with love, compassion, and excellence. Empowered by God's grace, they remain steadfast in their mission to proclaim the hope of Christ and prepare hearts for His soon return.
